This Raging Sea is an upper YA novel that deals with some darker themes and elements. With that in mind, I’ve put together this list of content warnings for anyone who would like to peruse them ahead of reading.

The story includes the following:

  • brief gun violence, in the form of an accidental shooting
  • teen drug use (edibles and prescription stimulants)

  • death of a sibling (in the past and off-page, but referenced throughout)
  • death of a parent
  • body horror + gore
